Ciara O’Rourke has worked in the area of healthcare communications for over 15 years in both the UK and Ireland. Over this time she has developed and implemented public awareness and education campaigns across a wide range of health and social issues and worked with a number of commercial and not-for-profit organisations.

In 2003 Ciara joined MSD as External Affairs Director and has developed a number of initiatives focused on highlighting the need for better access to health information for patients. She was instrumental in developing the Crystal Clear campaign.
