Health Service Executive (HSE)

For the past 11 years Sarah has worked with the Health Service Executive as a Projects Officer in the areas of Consumer Information and Health Promotion.  Between 2002 and 2005 she worked closely with the Health Promotion Unit of the Department of Health & Children, with one of her key roles being to co-ordinate the review and updating of health promotion information materials.  During this time Sarah has been a strong advocate for health literacy awareness and promotion within the Health Services and has collaborated with NALA on a number of projects.

Sarah holds a BSc (Hons) from the Unversity of Salford in the UK and is currently undertaking a MSc in Leadership and Management Development with the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland – International School of Healthcare.  Sarah has just begun to work part-time with the WHO Healthy Cities Project for Waterford City.
